Really? That's interesting, because I thought that there were some parts that were like the book. One of my favorites was the part when Hermione had that time-turner and turned everything backwards, so we were able to see what had happened before, and in addition, we found out who was doing the howling and what Hermione had seen behind the tree. At first I thought she had seen the dog. Very wacky...

Yeah, there were some parts that were different from the book, but overall, I thought that the time-turner scene was probably the best yet. I also liked the Patronus part; those dementors were ug-LEE! ;D

After watching this movie, I finally gave in and read the books. Too much was missing. Who were the Marauders? That wasn't really explained, as well as the Map. Now that I've read all the books, I can definitely say I like the Marauders more than the Trio.
The movie was really well done, but it missed that huge part.
I was very happy about the H/Hr scenes! And that it was only Harry and Hermione in the 'past', while in OotP, they had Ron tag along on parts that only Harry and Hermione had.

Best part of the movie - the magical creatures!!! I have to say that even though harry was probably riding one of those mechanical bulls in reality (while they were filming the part where he is riding Buckbeak) I sure would have traded places with him in a second. I wish they would have extended his flight time !!
