I noticed that a new board was added here within the past day, and I was just wondering what it means. What is the 'Featured Potter Fan' and how does it work? I mean: what's the significance of having it? How do you become a featured Potter fan, if you can look at it that way? I was only wondering because I thought that maybe it was restricted to certain members. For instance, can anyone be a featured Potter fan, and if so, what do you have to do to achieve that honor? (I saw Kyle Xy's name up on the news flash and in the fan board, and it got my attention.) Do you have to have a certain number of points to get there? Kyle's obviously a prefect already.

Hi, Minerva! Let me answer your questions one at a time. The Featured Fan board is something I decided to add because I thought that it would attract more fans to the site. Yes, anyone can become a Featured Potter fan on this board; the members are chosen at random. You don't need a certain number of points, although I would give top priority to the people who already made the Prefect ranking just to be fair. The only reason Kyle got the first standing is because he not only was the first person to join Potter's Quibbler, but he also became the first one to reach over 100 posts. In a special word to you and all other 'Potter' freaks trying for the position: Don't think of it as a competition to try to outdo each other; rather, think of it as a chance to submit your ideas in threads or reply to posts as much as you can. It will increase also your chances of earning more House points. Anyone is free to try to make that magical standing and become the next Featured Potter Fan of Potter's Quibbler! What would it feel like to see YOUR name listed on the home page of the site for everyone to see? Think about it, people.
